New Items Inspired by India

India known for it's textile industry, but more importantly India is also known for its jewelry. For thousands of years Indian jewelry has consisted of rich metal tones and colors such as a brilliant yellow gold and a plethora of gem toned stones like amethyst, ruby, emerald, turquoise, coral and so much more.

India's glorious history has affected each and every aspect of their lifestyle and has influenced styles and designs worldwide. It's colorful trends has been transported globally; you will be surprised to know that the history of Indian jewelry goes back to almost 5000 years. Since pre-historic times, people in India have had a penchant for adorning themselves with jewellery using the vibrant colored stones.

We at darcy antonia thought we would pay homage to India this season and its beautiful colors by creating a line of items called "back to Bombay". This line of earrings, necklaces and rings are in progress as we will give you a sneak peak at what we're working on...
